equilibrium and other things...

Just found a note to myself to look again at the Land Art work of Richard Shilling and was inspired to post this for a little contemplation. Its titled 'Equilibrium Stack'.

Also liked this for the  new focus it gave to the leaves...named 'three framed Rowans' and posted on 27 June, 09

June 25th post referred to the exciting arrival of the artist's newly published book 'Land Art'.

Oh my goodness, these are delicately breathtaking! I feel very moved by these installations ~ like God created something a bit different and left it there for some human, animal or element to naturally stumble across. Ahhhh ...

This stone sculpture is beyond my imagination how it managed to stay together long enough for a photo...let alone be constructed in the first place. It does take your breathe away chrissy...thanks for the comment!
