Classes and workshops for all ages offered by Sophie at her lively home studio.

Brochure for children's classes above. Living close to several schools and being near recreation facilities means lot of parents are already busily dropping kids off to after school activities in the neighbourhood and my studio classes are proving both popular with participants who love opportunities to unleash the right side of their brains after a day in the class room... and mum's who do the ferrying so close by anyway. Maybe a class for Mum's called Art as Meditation would be a good idea! That's possible!
I am in the process of setting up workshops and classes that
have been successfully conducted over many years in a variety
of contexts...during the 1990's at Themata Studio in Johnston
St, Collingwood, in inner-city Melbourne, and from 2001 in
Newcastle, NSW where I was living till May last year. The
classes that I am now focused on offering will bring together
the best of having worked with all ages in a huge range of formal
and informal teaching environments, studios and retreat locations.

It feels more exciting than ever to have this opportunity to now draw on such broad-ranging experiences and feel very comfortable in electing to pursue, for the most part, very small and intimate teaching scenarios where the emphasis will be personal and tailored to individuals, whilst still generating possibilities for stimulating interaction and collaborations. This is a rather organic approach, bringing participants into my studio world, cultivating new possibilites in this dense and animated space, surrounded by the things that are part of a long apprenticeship and serious dedication to my art practice....if you want to know more about this do get in touch...
