Monty Don: Around the World in 80 Gardens

Monty Don in his garden in Leominster

I have just read the fascinating story of the man who brought us the remarkable "Around the World in 80 Gardens"  series we here in australia have finally been able to view on TV. The Sunday, March 8th article The interview: Monty Don   in The Observer by Kate Kellaway and Hermione Hoby is a great read for those interested in the vision of this man and his personal story.   www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2009/mar/08/monty-don-gardens-bbc    or  google Monty Don and find this article under the guardian.co.uk.

Alternatively Google will take you to a  YOU TUBE entry for Monty Don.... have look at  "Urban food growing in Cuba"  which is an excerpt from the garden TV series.
Monty Don worked with and inspired many young offenders with his BBC programme 'Growing out of Trouble'
