Amazing to have all that water summer fun for my eyes on this very winter day in the north country. I especially love the stair/fence water in stripes shot! and just after seeing Ellsworth Kelly with Altoon...

Hi Nathalie,
isn't this an engaging photo... My obsession with ocean pools began here 16 years ago. So much to observe... in the water and out!

Hi Maggie,
I am shocked at how much snow and ice i am still seeing on northern hemisphere blogs!
No wonder these images appeal! Yes...yes...the linear imagery is great...and yes...Altoon - Elsworth Kelly
Keep warm and snug!

Hello Cat,
lovely to hear from you!
Before blogging I never tuned into winter in the north anywhere near as much ....this year I am amazed at what you've been going through and not surprised you are feeling desperate for the warm days again and some relief from this aching cold!
I'm glad my current obsession with water and swimming is inspiring rather than simply annoying!
We are in the sub-tropics so this time of year and also being the holiday season its particularly pleasant to cool down near or in water!
Hope you find ways to stay warm as toast Cat,
S xx
