that's what I ask myself every time an email drops into my in-box from this source. If you dont recognise this familiar bit from the bottom of their web-page then this post is definitely for you. If your visually inclined...whether that translates to avid painter, textile magician, casual collage artist, late night graffitti artist or anything from the realm of possibilities out there... then you probably take an interest... or more than a passing interest... in how people set up their creative spaces, how they live, what they surround themselves with ...etc

God forbid we all had the same take on things ... no matter how little people have to work with we are remarkably capable of shaping something from what we have when so aesthetically inclined.
Ok... some of you know I'm talking the selby .... maybe you're a fan... maybe not ... but I will tell you why I like them so much. And this is not the first time I've put up some images from them...

So we have not learnt a whole lot of facts abut the artist ... google him for that... but there is a great deal to be gleaned from these images... + many more to see as well! I'll tell you the location... Auckland, New Zealand ... wonderful place!
Apart from your mail this is just the kind of thing I like to see in my inbox of a morning when I'm still waking up... a little daydreaming about some place on the map where people are doing interesting things! Selby is not bothered whether the subjects have a pile of money, fame, own or rent,or it looks this or that... Selby it appears is simply after that special something on their terms ....wherever its to be found , however it is put into life!
