These journal pages and paintings were found here. I saved this about a month ago and am unable to recall how I came across this artist's work.  His Biography is in Polish so I cant offer much info there either. I was very taken with this strong work and have a certain affinity with the way the journals connect with the paintings.

Thanks for your comment Carolyn... great to see the kind of books used by this artist I thought... Some look like recycled ledgers...

p.s. omg, i just discovered the pastries! HOME RUN girlfriend!

(now you know where my truest deepest priorities are: pretty food!)

Had to laugh MP ... Home run indeed...
I thought the ingredients alone would tease out more comments ... that is certainly what got me... the sheer inventiveness in the kitchen... plus of course the end result.
How would they taste?
And yes the blue in these journals is something... youa re right... the further you scroll... that element of surprise as somethings becomes more than it first seemed! Cant resist that!

I just ooo'd and ah'd with the journals...then I saw the food. I think that you, Mlle Paradis, and I might be kindred spirits.

Back from a FABULOUS Vaca in New Mexico and ready to work! Missed you!

Hi Mary,
very sweet of you ...you sound rested and ready for the studio! Hope you have pics of the trip to New Mexico!
I was being completely fanciful asking people to join me for a visit to the Gallery then afternoon tea.... glad to know those out there with a fondness for aesthetics in the edible arena too!

Hi Lesley,
Fascinating placing them in the 1960's/70's too...
know what you mean about entering the world of the journals of others.
Thanks for popping in!
