Well, I think the whole day looks like a dream come true! Lucky, lucky, lucky. I have had a couple of neighborhood artist ladies asking to come to my studio so.....Now I am truly inspired to get them here. As for the string paintings/ Divine!!! I can't wait to see how that all turns out! Your new work is shaping up rather nicely don't you think?
P.S. I've been playing with paint and drawing a lot since our last emails and it has busted a huge hole in a mental block that I have had. Thank you Sophie! That is a true testimony to your teaching skills!

Yes... a day with another painter who is quite a force of nature was a breath of fresh air Mary... working, reflecting and breathing out ... literally and metaphorically.
I've been loving the workshops... this was different again...I was inside the process rather than facilitating and thats why it was so enlarging for me.
Great to hear you've tapped into a little inspiration via here... we ll need that.... and just being in the process again has been so wonderful... rather than end goal pursuit of painting for deadlines ... thinking about it from the inside out.
When I am in the UK the work will be highly focused on documentation, especially at the KEW Millennium Seed Bank ... which is another reason that all this loose working is a good place to be right now.
have a great show Mary!
thanks for your enthusiasm from right across the Pacific!

Oh, what a wonderful day you had! And enjoyed reading about your packages in your previous post. I could read your blog for hours, I always learn so much!
